Additional Information
Moses Perley; (1804-1862) was appointed Fishery Commissioner for New Brunswick in 1855 and published the first catalogue for fishes of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia (1852) and the first description of the sea and river fisheries of the St. Lawrence coast of New Brunswick (1850). He had great energy and promoted rail transport, tourism, and the exploitation of natural resources.
